In 2015/16 Redcliffe were part of a research project based around young children’s scientific and creative enquiry (aged 2-5years). During this workshop we would like to share with you our journey and the ways in which this study has impacted our practice and scientific experiences we have provided for children.
In this workshop we aim to highlight the role of the adult in uncovering children’s scientific thinking, how children investigate the world around them and explore their own hypothesis and theories.
This is a practical workshop where you will get the chance to explore and experiment with a range of tools and materials to give you ideas to take back to your own setting to inspire and excite your children.
