The Five Counties Teaching School Hubs Alliance (FCTSHA) are a partnership of teaching school hubs supporting over 700 schools in the South West. We co-deliver the ECT programme and the EYs NPQ with them for the region.
The Bristol Primary Training and Support Alliance (formerly the Bristol Primary Teaching School Alliance) is a hub for supporting schools and for sharing good practice across the city – engaging in school improvement, promoting existing networks, creating new collaborations, training new teachers into the profession and developing Continuing Professional and Leadership Development (CPLD).
The Boolean Maths Hub works with schools, academies and colleges to support the continuous improvement of mathematics education for all students across the following five counties: Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
The English Hub (Mangotsfield Primary) is one of only 36 designated schools nationwide, recognised for excellence in teaching and learning in early reading. Their role involves supporting schools across Bristol, Bath, South Glos and Gloucestershire to achieve excellence in early literacy with a focus on developing early language, phonics and promoting a love of reading.
The Cabot Learning Federation SCITT delivers a high-quality evidence-based teacher training programme (Initial Teacher Education (ITT) for the Early Years 3-7 years ) in collaboration with BEYTH.
University West of England (UWE) award the PGCE qualification for the above teacher training.
Pen Green provides training courses, leadership and research opportunities and bespoke school-to-school support in all aspects of early years and primary work. Professional development, training and dissemination of good practice happens through the Research, Development and Training Base, and the Teaching School.
The Research Schools Network is a collaboration (EEF and IEE) to bridge the gap between schools and academic research. A network of 23 schools support the use of research evidence to improve teaching practice. The Research School for East London, in particular, focuses on early years research.

Bristol Association for Neighbourhood Daycare (BAND) is a charity and an umbrella organisation which supports and develops childcare provision in and around Bristol. They provide services to childcare providers, people working with children, families and employers.
Early Education is a charity promoting high quality early childhood education, especially for the most disadvantaged. The Bristol branch, ECHO, provides meetings and events to support practitioners and settings in Bristol and surrounding areas.
Springboard Opportunity Group is a well-established charity and daycare provider in North Somerset, offering a safe and secure place where children with disabilities are able to learn and flourish. Springboard offers tailored workshops for Early Years’ settings including Autism and Makaton.
